Stop chasing unpaid invoices by hand
Send invoices with a pay-by-card link and let automatic reminders do the chasing.
The problem
Chasing payments is awkward and time-consuming, and late payments hurt cash flow.
What it could earn or save you
Rough estimate- Time
- Roughly 1 to 2 hours a week
- Money
- Could shorten the time it takes to get paid
How we got this: Based on no longer writing reminder emails and making payment calls manually; pay links remove the 'I'll do a bank transfer later' delay. Your results depend on your business; this is an illustrative estimate, not a guarantee.
How to switch it on
- 1
Choose an invoicing tool with automatic reminders (Invoice Ninja, QuickBooks, Jobber).
- 2
Connect card payments (Stripe or the tool's own payments) so customers can pay from the invoice.
- 3
Turn on reminders: on the due date, 3 days after, and 7 days after.
- 4
Paste the polite-but-firm wording below into the reminder templates.
- 5
Invoice on the same day you finish the job, from your phone.
